Financing in Marvel Studios

As Marvel had started as a comic book publisher, they had managed to build up a great profit growth to start converting the popular comic book franchise into TV series and then into cinematic films. According to WikiPedia, Marvel had arranged a seven-year development deal with 20th Century Fox to cover markets in the United States and internationally.

Technical Development in Marvel Studios

Marvel had started their series of movies working with 20th Century Fox creating titles such as Daredevil and Fantastic Four using 35mm film cameras. Fantastic Four had used Panavision cameras and lenses while Daredevil had used the Arriflex 435 and the Moviecam Compact. Going back three years before Daredevil, Marvel studios seemed do have used a Panavision in X-Men in 2000.

I tried to fit the gun used in the thriller into my design because I felt the movie was based around the gun.

Creating Ad Campaigns: Research

According to the well-known user updated website, Wikipedia, Warner Brothers launched their official website to represent The Dark Knight Rises in May 2011. They took advantage of the website’s popularity to start a viral marketing campaign. This was done by when a user was to open up the website, an “encrypted audio file” was played (which has been described by users as a chanting sound). When the audio file was “decrypted”, it would give a link to the film’s official twitter account. This would then lead to every time a person would comment on the social network account, a pixel would then be removed from the website to in turn, reveal the first official image of a character known as Bane. This would give people an insight to the latest enemy that Batman could be facing.
