Health and Safety for Print

Here are some major health and safety notes to follow when screen printing...




Wash your hands after use.
When using the emulsion, you need to wash your hands afterwards as it can irritate your eyes or your stomach if you eat afterwards.

Put down wet floor signs.
When using the jetwash, you should put down wet floor signs as a warning so people are more careful not to slip.

No eating or drinking.
There are a lot of irritant products about which if spilt on food and drink could make it unsafe to eat. Also, not to eat or drink incase you make a mess.

Put bags and coats up on the rack.
Don't leave bags or coats on the floor incase people are walking around and they could become a trip hazard.

Major Health and Safety for lightbox.
When using the lightbox, you need to be very careful as there could be a lot of UV exposure, and the vacuum if not turned off when opening the lid could break the glass which will shatter.
